Mini Machines - Explore Simple Machine Concepts

children will focus on basic machines and mechanisms. We explore how machines are used to transform energy, transfer energy, multiply or change direction of force and multiply speed. Using the six simple machine concepts, children design and build various contraptions. We introduce children to the engineering design process, encourage creative design and build contraptions, using resources available to them.
